Database Backup

Configure WAL archiving for the platform PostgreSQL cluster. Saving here creates the cnpg-s3-creds Secret in the platform namespace and patches the CNPG Cluster CR. Until configured here, no archiver runs and Postgres self-purges WAL on checkpoint.

Path prefix Object key prefix inside the bucket. Final destination: s3://<bucket>/<prefix>/

Retention (days) How long full backups + WAL are kept in the bucket before pruning.

Full backup schedule Continuous WAL archiving runs constantly regardless of this setting. Scheduled full backups create restore points on top of WAL.

Custom cron (6-field Quartz: sec min hour day month dow) CNPG requires 6 fields, not the standard 5. E.g. 0 0 1 * * * = 1 AM daily.
